We removed the spark plugs, and wires tonight. Everything looked pretty good, the plugs needed to be replaced along with the wires. We'll do the distributor cap as well. That is an odd one. It does not fit real snugly, like an o-ring is missing or something. I'm pretty sure this is the design though.

Two of the plugs. Gaps were a bit erratic. All that oil around the plug was from when we removed the valve cover.

We also learned there's enough room in the engine compartment that you can climb on in! Makes reaching those hard to get places easier.

Last thing we did tonight on the car was to remove the old A/C compressor. That will get replaced with a modern kit at some point.
